IOL2010

This is the site for the 2010 competition. The 2011 competetition, hosted by Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA,  has its own site.

The International Olympiad in Linguistics (IOL) is an annual competition for high/secondary school students in which they solve problems, alone and in a team, based on linguistics and logic. The competition requires no special knowledge, only familiarity with such fundamental concepts from linguistics and mathematics as are typically present in school curricula, as well as general culture and logical thought.
